Job Summary

AK IT Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Fresher) to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Understand project requirements and functional specifications

Design, write, and execute manual test cases

Perform Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Functional testing

Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools

Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure quality delivery

Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports

Participate in test planning and review meetings

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Understanding of Manual Testing concepts

Knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, and defect lifecycle

Basic knowledge of SQL (preferred)

Familiarity with tools like JIRA (good to have)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Basic understanding of Automation Testing (Selenium/Playwright)

Knowledge of Agile methodology

Basic API testing knowledge

Eligibility

BE / BTech / BCA / MCA / BSc IT or equivalent

Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience

Ahmedabad local candidates preferred
