Area Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Develop Safety Culture: Establish and champion a proactive, company-wide culture where safety is a core value.Set Policy & Goals: Formulate, implement, and review the overall corporate Health & Safety policy, objectives, and management system.Budget Management: Oversee the budget for safety equipment, training, and programs.Compliance & Risk Regulatory Adherence: Ensure the company fully complies with all local, national, and international safety laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, etc.).High-Level Risk Management: Direct and review comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate major hazards across all sites/departments.Emergency Planning: Approve and manage emergency response plans, drills, and crisis management protocols.Management & Training Team Oversight: Lead, mentor, and manage the team of Safety Officers and EHS Specialists.Training Strategy: Oversee the development and delivery of mandatory safety training and induction programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.Management Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and present key safety metrics (like accident rates, incident statistics, and compliance status) to the CEO and Board of Directors.Incident Management Serious Incident Investigation: Take charge of and approve the investigation process for major accidents, determining root causes and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
