To lead and direct the legal department. Qualification should be LLB/LLM with 15 - 20 years of experience in a law firm in handling Litigation of Civil (Property Related), Revenue, Consumer and Criminal Cases at various courts like High Court, Civil Courts, Tribunals, Consumer Forum, Statutory Agencies etc., out of which 4-5 years of experience in Real estate / Property Litigation / SRA. Should be well versed in Drafting Writ Petitions, Suits, Appeals, Revisions, Reviews, Affidavit, Lease Deed, License Agreement, MOU etc. Should have a Strong Grasp and Working Knowledge of Courts, Revenue Department and Tribunals etc. Should also be able to guide and mentor a team of Advocates and to coordinate with them for effective management of legal department.

Duties & Responsibilities:1) Handling and management of litigation pertaining to Motor accident claims, Consumer litigation and other legal related issues2) Dealing with Courts, Advocates and Investigators for effective handling of claims 3) Appointment of advocates and Regular follow up with Advocates for opinions for compromise/contest 4) Adducing evidences in legal claims 5) Adherence to internal processes and external regulations 6) Coordinate with internal customers in order to facilitate effective handling of claims and share the court precedents for them to deal with the claims 7) Ensure timely compliance of the orders passed by courts 8) Review of cases and proper maintenance of case file and details in system 9) Coordination with local regulatory and administrative bodiesQualification: MBA(Insurance/Legal) OR LLBRelevant Work-experience Required

1) Drafting of agreements, notices, contracts, complaints, plaints and all other legal documents.2) Review progress of outstanding litigation and brief senior advocates.3) Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly.4) Co-ordinate with senior counsels, law firms for litigation assistance.5) Should have hands on experience in filing procedures, attending revenue and execution proceedings.6) Proven experience as legal counsel in business environment.7) Handling of legal disputes and litigation; advising the business functions on prevention of potential disputes and mitigation of legal risks.8) Representing in the court of law and Coordinating with the management, if so required.9) Well acquainted with Real Estate Central / State laws and regulations.10) Must have sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel.
