Lathe Machine Operation Minimum of 1 Year Experience

Selecting the cutting tools for machining operations using CNC or conventional lathesMounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathePerforming roughing and finishing operationsChecking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawingsCarrying out maintenance of turning lathe and toolsCleaning turning lathe and work area, e.g. removing swarf / chipsAbility to use measuring equipment for quality control checksKnowledge of mechanical maintenance practices and procedures for machine toolsStrong manual skillsReliability, precision and attention to detailAbility to work with minimal supervision and to follow instructionsFlexible approach to work hours and willingness to work shifts
