A strong understanding of various educational programs and institutions is essential. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with students. Proficiency in using digital tools for virtual counselling sessions and maintaining records is important. A relevant degree such as B.A., B.Com, or a professional qualification is required for this role. A passion for helping others succeed academically is highly valued.
