As a Fitter Turner, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by working with metal and machinery. You will need to focus on precision and safety as you perform your tasks. Key Responsibilities:- Machine Operation: Operate lathes, milling machines, and other tool machines to produce metal parts. You will need to set up the machines correctly and ensure they function properly for effective production.- Measurement and Inspection: Use measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and ensure that each part meets specified tolerances. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.- Assembly of Parts: Assemble different components, adjusting and fitting them as necessary to ensure they work together smoothly.
