As a Fitter Turner, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by working with metal and machinery. You will need to focus on precision and safety as you perform your tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Machine Operation:** Operate lathes, milling machines, and other tool machines to produce metal parts. You will need to set up the machines correctly and ensure they function properly for effective production.

- **Measurement and Inspection:** Use measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and ensure that each part meets specified tolerances. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

- **Assembly of Parts:** Assemble different components, adjusting and fitting them as necessary to ensure they work together smoothly. You will need to be skilled at following technical drawings and specifications.

- **Maintenance of Tools:** Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment to keep them in good condition. This includes sharpening tools and ensuring that machines are functioning safely and effectively.

- **Reporting Issues:** Report any machinery problems or defects in produced items to supervisors. Quick communication is key to maintaining production flow.

You should have a minimum education level of 10th grade, with a strong focus on hands-on mechanics. Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential for success in this position.
