A qualified AutoCAD Interior & Exterior Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for interior and exterior design projects. They collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that design concepts meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements. Key tasks include drafting precise plans using software like AutoCAD, selecting finishes and materials, preparing presentations, and coordinating with project teams to meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and client preferences is essential. Experience in space planning, visualization, and project documentation supports successful project execution and client satisfaction. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also vital.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Lead Design Projects: Manage and lead interior design projects from initial concept through to completion, including space planning, material selection, colour schemes, and furnishings.Client Liaison: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering innovative design solutions that align with their vision and goals.Design Concept Development: Create mood boards, concept designs, and presentation boards to present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all design elements are delivered on time and within the allocated budget.Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other design professionals to ensure that all aspects of the design are executed to the highest standards.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to foster their professional development.Vendor Coordination: Source and liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure furniture, fixtures, and materials that align with design specifications.Quality Control: Conduct site visits to ensure that design specifications are being adhered to and that the quality of work meets the highest standards.Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends, new materials, and technologies to ensure that designs remain contemporary and innovative.
