Job Description Functional Area: Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and application materials. Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties. Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Good knowledge of electrical & electronics equipment/components. candidate should have its own convince (mandatory for males). Good convincing power. A good team leader.Experience Required: 0 to 1 Years

Responsibility: To function as a Engineering In charge. To ensure effective and optimum use of utility services, engineering activities and maintenance activities of electrical & mechanical department. To prepare preventive maintenance schedule for all the machineries including engineering equipments and utility services To review routine records of preventive maintenance, engineering department and utility services. To coordinate preventive maintenance activities with Production Incharge. To decide inventory level of materials used in the Engineering department utility services in consultation with Authorized Person. To decide process control parameters and monitoring for engineering and utility services. To rise indents for the required materials for the engineering department. To ensure coordination and cooperation amongst the different production and maintenance sections. To follow documented quality system. To dispose unwanted materials (output wastage) of Engineering and Utility Services. To ensure timely attendance of breakdown calls and maintaining Machine History Cards. To ensure that the proper records are maintained. To control on inspection, measuring and test equipment's, in consultation with Production Incharge and Instrument Department. To get calibrated all instruments as per the defined calibration periodicity.

The Operations and Maintenance Engineer leads the Operations and Maintenance team in the testing, monitoring, installation and troubleshooting of electricity transmission or distribution equipment, auxiliaries, energy storage, control systems and substations. This includes implementing processes to integrate distributed generation sources with the grid, leading condition monitoring and preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment. He/She also manages major cable diversion works to allow equipment and cable fault repair work to be carried out. He/She reviews recommended mitigating measures to prevent power disturbance events from happening. He/She also conducts the expansion of networks in the power quality monitoring system, and plans for the inspections of contractor activities. He/She analyses the impact of cyber security and access control on network development policies and procedures, and develops network segregation and measures to minimise cyber security risks. He/She develops staff capabilities through capability developmentHe/She monitors Permits-to-Work procedures, and follows Safe System of Work (SSoW) frameworks and practices. He/She analyses the impact of emergency responses and safety procedures on business operations during emergencies, and supports the Emergency Response team on site incident management. He/She works in the control room, at substations or at cable sites, and may be required to perform shift work.He/She is detail-oriented and systematic in enforcing maintenance procedures within safety and operational guidelines. He/She possesses good leadership skills to lead team members and contractors.
