- Support senior electricians in installing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and outlets, following construction plans and blueprints.- Help with running and connecting electrical cables and wires in various parts of the construction site, ensuring proper installation and safety standards.- Carry out minor repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and light fixtures, under the supervision of senior electricians.- Assist in diagnosing electrical faults, identifying issues with circuits, outlets, or electrical panels, and suggesting appropriate repairs.- Adhere to local building codes, electrical safety standards, and OSHA regulations while working on electrical installations and repairs, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.- Assist in testing newly installed electrical systems for functionality, safety, and code compliance using appropriate tools and equipment.- Organize, clean, and maintain electrical tools, materials, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and ready for use on site.- Keep track of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during electrical installations or repairs, reporting progress to the lead electrician or supervisor.- Assist in the installation of lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical devices, ensuring secure connections and proper functioning.- Work closely with other team members, including senior electricians, contractors, and other trades, to ensure coordination and smooth workflow on construction sites.- Participate in routine inspections of electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and are functioning properly.- Assist in preparing construction sites by setting up electrical components, wiring channels, and other necessary infrastructure for installation.
