The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and VMC machines to produce precision parts and components.Key Responsibilities:Machine Setup: Set up CNC and VMC machines according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.Programming: Write or modify CNC programs to ensure efficient operations.Tool Selection: Select and install appropriate tools and fixtures for each job.Operation: Operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality and safety.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machines and processes to minimize downtime.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of machine settings, operations, and maintenance activities.Qualifications:Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in CNC and VMC machine operation and setup.Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Skills:Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.Ability to use precision measurement tools.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.Additional Requirements:Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts if required.
