As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and overseeing CNC machinery to create precision parts and products. This is a full-time position based in Tiruvallur.Key Responsibilities:- Set Up CNC Machines: Prepare machines for production by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to specifications.- Read Technical Drawings: Examine blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate production.- Monitor Machine Operations: Keep an eye on the performance of CNC machines during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.- Conduct Quality Checks: Use measuring tools to inspect finished products and ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.- Maintain Equipment: Regularly clean and perform basic maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues, suggest improvements, and stay informed on project updates.Required Skills and Expectations:- A diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is required, providing foundational knowledge for the role.- Familiarity with CNC machinery and tools is essential. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory, as training will be provided.- Good attention to detail and precision to produce high-quality parts is crucial.- Basic problem-solving skills to troubleshoot minor machine issues are important.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
