A Cargo Executive manages end-to-end air cargo operations, including handling, documentation, and tracking for domestic/international shipments. They ensure compliance with safety/regulatory standards (IATA, DG), manage warehouse storage, and coordinate with customs and ground staff for efficient loading/unloading. The role requires high-stress tolerance and, often, rotational shifts. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Handling: Managing export/import cargo, including acceptance, segregation, build-up, and breakdown.Documentation: Preparing and verifying Air Waybills (AWB), manifest generation, and ensuring proper documentation for dangerous goods (DG).Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to IATA rules, customs regulations, and airport security standards.Coordination: Liaison with customs, ground handling teams, and airlines for timely shipment dispatch and delivery.Safety & Maintenance: Ensuring safe handling of goods, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and monitoring warehouse equipment.RequirementsEducation: Graduate from a recognized university.Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in, or ability to learn, cargo management systems.Experience: Prior experience in cargo operations or logistics is often preferred.Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shiftsCommon ChallengesMeeting strict deadlines and handling last-minute, high-pressure changes.Managing cargo discrepancies or weather-related disruptions.HR RIYA - 9875678239
