The role involves managing key customers, identifying new business opportunities, understanding application requirements, and providing suitable automation solutions across industrial segments.Key Responsibilities Conduct daily customer visits in the assigned territory and generate new sales leads. Handle sales of industrial automation products and solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for customers (existing and prospective). Work towards monthly and annual sales targets and ensure consistent achievement. Understand customer applications and recommend suitable products or solutions. Prepare and follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, and project status. Coordinate with internal teams for technical support, order execution, and deliveries. Follow up with customers for payments and required commercial documentation. Submit weekly visit plans, sales reports, and pipeline updates to management. Participate in regular sales reviews, product training, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and product demonstrations. Update customers on new product launches, upgrades, and solution offerings.Preferred Qualifications & Skills Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Experience or exposure to industrial automation products such as PLCs, HMI, drives, sensors, motors, robotics, panels, motion control, or IIoT solutions. Knowledge of industrial customers, OEMs, system integrators, and manufacturing units in the assigned region. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
