The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems, with expertise in PLC programming, control panel design, and project lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer control systems for oil & gas projects Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell) Develop and review technical documentation including P&ID, cause and effect diagrams, and system architecture Design control panels (PLC/marshalling panels) and select appropriate components Create wiring diagrams and electrical schematics Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Manage full project lifecycle from design & engineering through execution, FAT/SAT, and commissioning Work with redundant PLC systems (hot standby, dual processor configurations) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Provide technical support during commissioning and operation phasesTechnical Requirements: Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical and instrumentation drawings Expertise in PLC/HMI/SCADA software platforms Strong MS Office skills for documentation and reporting Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems in hazardous areasProject Experience: Minimum 7 years in oil & gas industry projects Experience with control system design and implementation Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations

Functional Responsibilities: Execute the development of new applications, system improvements, customizations and modifications and ensure compliance with business requirements and provide guidance for the resolution of potential discrepancies. Periodically test the efficiency of the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance. Execute User Acceptance Testing to determine whether the system satisfies the acceptance criteria of the customer. Conducting software tests to find the software bugs which would hamper the quality of the software. Implement required tests and controls for the solutions developed, to ensure compliance with required quality standards compatibility with existing systems and functionality with business operations.
