Key Responsibilities1. Design & DraftingPrepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD softwareConvert rough sketches, layouts, and specifications into detailed drawingsDevelop engineering drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, and schematics2. Technical DocumentationCreate and maintain detailed design documentation and recordsEnsure all drawings comply with project specifications and standardsUpdate drawings based on feedback, revisions, and site changes3. Project CoordinationWork closely with engineers, architects, and project managersCoordinate design details and resolve technical issuesSupport project planning and execution through accurate drawings4. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Modeling: Develop accurate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D engineering drawings for manufacturing using industry-standard software.Design Modification: Modify and revise existing designs to improve performance, reduce production costs, or adapt to new manufacturing constraints.GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit and function of assemblies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, tooling, and quality assurance teams to resolve design-related issues on the shop floor.BOM Generation: Create and maintain comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for smooth ERP integration.Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, DIN).Prototyping & Testing: Assist in the development and evaluation of prototypes, analyzing test results to refine designs before final production release.
