As an Autocad Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. This includes interpreting design specifications, collaborating with engineers and architects, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Key responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D models using Autocad software, analyzing design specifications and technical drawings, collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy and quality of designs, and producing detailed documentation for construction and manufacturing processes.We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Autocad design, a graduate degree in a related field, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, proficiency in Autocad software, and a keen eye for accuracy and precision in their work.

Candidate will primarily assist senior engineers with design, developments & implementation of sheet metal components & systems. You will work under the guidance of more experienced engineers, contributing to projects, enquiries by preparing drawings, Bills of materials &/or costing, preparations of drawings, layouts, installation drawings & ensuring project meets standards & requirements. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to prepare rack drawings e.g. pallet racks, Shelving systems, Multitier systems, ASRS racking Systems, mezzanine Floors etc. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Software Skills: AutoCAD/ZwCad 2D, MS Office & exposure to Creo 3.0. Min Exp. 1-2 years in the Design department. Qualification: B.E in Mechanical Engg or Equivalent

Job Responsibilities:Work with the Customer and Sales to develop a quotable/manufacturable solution to the customers requestComprehend engineering notes and communicate with internal and external customers as needed to accurately conceptualize and complete designsVisualize a concept from 2D to 3DDesign standard and custom tooling solutionsUse AutoCAD software to develop prints and designs for productionCreate and complete accurate drawings for custom tools and fixtures, under tight time constraintsEnsure timely output of drawings for customer approval.Work directly with operations to review, update, and approve designs and support the production group as each tool is madeFuture responsibilities based on experience will include:Train new or current Designers and be a resource for others when questions ariseBackup for design review processesOther tasks as defined by leadership

Mechanical Design Lead with Expertise in Autocad and Solidworks.- Previous relevant designing experience in process equipment/ Industrial Equipment- Relevant experience in managing team of designers- Proficient communicator. Should be able to co-ordinate with vendors, customers and manufacturing team- Exposure/ experience in designing industrial furnaces/ heat exchangers/ recuperators/ air preheaters/ Industrial Ovens or similar equipment would be an added advantage.
