Position Summary:The Fire and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring workplace safety by implementing and monitoring fire prevention, emergency response, and occupational safety programs. This role involves conducting regular safety inspections, training staff, managing firefighting systems, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities: Fire Prevention & ProtectionInspect and maintain firefighting equipment such as extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, and alarms.Identify potential fire hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.Conduct regular fire drills, evacuation training, and emergency preparedness sessions.Monitor and test fire detection and alarm systems periodically.Ensure all staff are aware of fire exits, assembly points, and safety procedures.
