Jay Ganesh Enterprises, a leading kids clothing manufacturer and export house in Kolkata, India, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. Key Responsibilities:-Order Management: Manage the entire order process from order placement to shipment, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and quality requirements.-Buyer Interaction: Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers, understanding their needs, addressing queries, and providing regular updates on order status.-Timely Delivery: Track and manage production timelines, taking proactive measures to overcome any potential delays and ensuring on-time delivery.-Production Planning: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and quality control, to plan and execute production activities effectively.-Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with buyer requirements.-Costing and Pricing: Prepare price quotations based on buyer requirements, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.-Sampling and Approval: Coordinate sampling activities, ensuring timely development and approval of samples to meet buyer specifications.-Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate records of all merchandising activities, including order details, production reports, and shipment documentation.-Team Coordination: Collaborate with junior merchandising staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure efficient and cohesive teamwork.

Responsibilities.* Ensure Pre-Production samples are sent and approved on time.* Keeping a tab on the Production by visiting factory regularly.* Update for any delay in the shipment for whatsoever reason.* Maintaining the Production Time Line Chart - Everyday* To Ensure the shipments are executed on time, by coordinating with Production/shipping/packaging team.* Maintain the record of Production samples/ Files/ Prices.Min.3yrs to 5yrs in Assistant Merchandiser for Production in Jute bag manufacturing, textiles etc.Age maxi.of 35yrs.
