Key Responsibilities:-Order Management: Manage the entire order process from order placement to shipment, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and quality requirements.-Buyer Interaction: Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers, understanding their needs, addressing queries, and providing regular updates on order status.-Timely Delivery: Track and manage production timelines, taking proactive measures to overcome any potential delays and ensuring on-time delivery.-Production Planning: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and quality control, to plan and execute production activities effectively.-Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with buyer requirements.-Costing and Pricing: Prepare price quotations based on buyer requirements, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.-Sampling and Approval: Coordinate sampling activities, ensuring timely development and approval of samples to meet buyer specifications.-Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate records of all merchandising activities, including order details, production reports, and shipment documentation.-Team Coordination: Collaborate with junior merchandising staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure efficient and cohesive teamwork.

The company is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in export merchandising or related roles within the apparel sector.Key Details of the Position:Role: Asst. Export MerchandiserIndustry: Apparel & Retail SourcingLocation: Remote Experience: 2 years in Export Merchandising, Apparel Sourcing, or related fieldsSalary Range: 10,000 to 15,000 per monthKey Responsibilities:Selecting manufacturers: Identifying and working with manufacturers or suppliers who can produce the apparel to the required standards, on time, and within budget.Vendor relationship: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and long-term collaboration.Costing products: Collaborating with manufacturers to get accurate cost estimates for production and transportation, and ensuring the final price meets the client's budget expectations.Negotiating prices: Negotiating with suppliers or manufacturers to get competitive prices for raw materials, manufacturing, and logistics.Product development: Collaborating with designers or clients to create and approve initial garment samples.Sample review: Ensuring that the sample meets buyer specifications, quality standards, and is in line with the buyer's requirements.Order confirmation: Confirming production orders with suppliers and ensuring all terms and conditions are met.Production follow-up: Monitoring the production process to ensure timelines are adhered to, identifying any delays or issues, and resolving them promptly.Production capacity management: Ensuring that the factory or supplier has the capacity to meet the required order volumes.Export documentation: Preparing and managing the required export documents like commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.Shipping coordination: Managing the shipment process, ensuring timely delivery of goods from the supplier to the customer.
