Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, ensuring technical accuracy, and supporting project delivery within quality, cost, and time targets. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate resources, monitor progress, and resolve on-site challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate on-site construction activities.Ensure all work complies with design specifications, drawings, codes, and safety regulations.Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.Manage manpower, materials, and equipment allocation on site.Inspect and review project deliverables for quality assurance and control.Support the preparation of BOQs, material requisitions, and cost estimates.Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution.Maintain daily site reports, progress documentation, and records of variations.Identify and resolve technical or operational issues on site.Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.Provide technical input during design, procurement, and execution stages.Report to the Project Manager on project status, risks, and resource needs.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.Proven experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and site supervision.Proficiency in engineering/design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.).Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling).ERP/project management software experience (SAP, Oracle).Green building/sustainability practices.Multilingual communication skills.
