Essential skills and qualificationsCustomer service skills: The ability to remain calm and professional while assisting a diverse range of passengers, especially those who may be frustrated or stressed.Computer literacy: Proficiency with airline reservation systems, also known as Global Distribution Systems (GDS), such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.Communication skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for clear and effective interaction with both passengers and other staff members.Attention to detail: Accuracy is critical when entering passenger details and processing tickets to avoid costly mistakes.
