The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.Handle accounts receivable and payable, vendor reconciliation, and client invoicing.Manage cash flow, petty cash, and bank transactions.Prepare and file GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns within deadlines.Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.Support statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Monitor project expenses and provide cost tracking (especially in construction/real estate companies).Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com or CA Inter preferred).1 - 3 years of experience as an Accountant.Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation rules.Knowledge of project-wise accounting (preferred for real estate/construction).High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision.
