3D Design Engineer (Window Displays and Retail Fixtures) (Afternoon Shift) Timings: 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM Working Days: Monday - Friday Location: Andheri East (Soon relocating to Lower Parel) Visual Citi Inc. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Design Engineer / Industrial Designer with proven experience in the Retail Fixtures, Window Display, Pop-Up Spaces and Visual Merchandising industry. The ideal candidate is an expert in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and production-ready documentation. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed Shop drawings and engineering drawings primarily using SolidWorks and/or Rhino. Develop high-quality rendering presentations (experience with KeyShot is a strong plus). Prepare and issue production files for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. Extract and compile Bills of Materials (BoM) and other supporting documentation. Interpret briefs and collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to deliver innovative and practical solutions. Participate in design development and value-engineering exercises to optimize cost, materials, and manufacturing processes. Support prototyping, testing, and on-site implementation when necessary. Ensure design outputs align with brand guidelines, manufacturing capabilities, and project timelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. 35 years (or more) professional experience designing for retail fixtures, furnitures, exhibition stands, displays, or similar environment. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Rhino for 3D modeling and technical drawings is a MUST. Working knowledge of KeyShot, SketchUp, or other relevant visualization and drafting tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, acrylics, plastics), finishes, and fabrication methods. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate, production-ready documentation. Experience generating BoMs, cut lists, and assembly instructions. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to clearly present design solutions. Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies. Excellent communication in English, and time management skills, with adaptability to fast-paced environments and along with strong ethical conduct. Oversee the creation and execution of design solutions including imagery, charts, infographics and multimedia elements used for marketing, advertising, sales and other forms of communications. Calculates project cost estimates based on materials and resources required; maintains pricing list or system for recurring or standard projects. Consult with customers and stakeholders to conceptualize, scope and develop project deliverables and timelines. Ensure the layout and design are aligned with brand and production standards and follow best practices Oversees the day-to-day workflow and output of the department, prioritizing and assigning projects. Ensures finished projects align with customer and project requirements before product leaves department for printing, delivery, and/or distribution. Attends design consultation meetings for unusual or large-scale projects. Assists team members with projects as needed. Performs other duties as required. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

To read Architectural Floor Plan and derive scope of work for signage and branding purposes. To design shop drawings for signage and branding using CorelDraw Creating visuals for client presentations Able to produce technical signage design / Production drawings Taking conceptual designs to create practical product design solutions across the full mix of signage types Communicating with Vendor Partners and acquiring quotes Collaborating with cross functional internal teams Any other works given from time to time. Typing speed should be alteast 30 wpm Must have around 3-5 years of relevant experience in producing Signage Designs and Production Files. Must be able to communicate in English fluently (written and oral) Hands on experience of Signage Installation / project management will be of added advantage. Having working knowledge of different printers and substrates on which signage is produced will be of added advantage.

Desktop/application installation, configuration, administration and trouble-shooting skills for Intel PC hardware, Microsoft Win 7/10 and Application software (including MS Outlook). Knowledge of VPN, Peripheral devices, Wireless/PDA devices and Network equipment like Ethernet cables and switches Good understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and networking concepts. Ability to multitask, handle tickets, chats & calls. Experience in remote technical support via telephone in a service/call center environment. Configuring and troubleshooting of LAN Maintain the LAN running with Automation system. Manage various Site constructions, Installation setups for networking Managing / Installation of CCTV, PBX, Automation systems at Owned/advised sites of working Preliminary and advance Setup of Networks and interconnection of offices/setups IO Punching, IO Crimping, Switches, Patch Panels, Router, Rack setup Managing Switches (Managed/ POE), Routers, Firewalls Managing /configuring VOIP (Avaya) system Managing VPS / 3rd party servers and services for integration purpose. Able to manage domains, subscriptions etc.
