3D Design Engineer (Window Displays and Retail Fixtures)

We at Visual Citi, design, produce and install award-winning retail fixtures, window display and

pop-up spaces. Established in 2004, the scalable organization, currently having over 100K sqft

production facility, employing over 100+ employees, we deliver exceptional value to all our

clients.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Design Engineer / Industrial Designer with

proven experience in the Retail Fixtures, Window Display, Pop-Up Spaces and Visual

Merchandising industry. The ideal candidate is an expert in translating design concepts into

precise technical drawings and production-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

ï‚· Create detailed Shop drawings and engineering drawings primarily using SolidWorks

and/or Rhino.

ï‚· Develop high-quality rendering presentations (experience with KeyShot is a strong plus).

ï‚· Prepare and issue production files for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and compliance

with specifications.

ï‚· Extract and compile Bills of Materials (BoM) and other supporting documentation.

ï‚· Interpret briefs and collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and

clients to deliver innovative and practical solutions.

ï‚· Participate in design development and value-engineering exercises to optimize cost,

materials, and manufacturing processes.

ï‚· Support prototyping, testing, and on-site implementation when necessary.

ï‚· Ensure design outputs align with brand guidelines, manufacturing capabilities, and

project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ï‚· Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a

related discipline.

 3��5 years (or more) professional experience designing for retail fixtures, furnitures,

exhibition stands, displays, or similar environment.

ï‚· Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Rhino for 3D modeling and technical

drawings is a MUST.

ï‚· Working knowledge of KeyShot, SketchUp, or other relevant visualization and drafting

tools is an advantage.

ï‚· Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, acrylics, plastics), finishes, and

fabrication methods.

ï‚· Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate, production-ready

documentation.

ï‚· Experience generating BoMs, cut lists, and assembly instructions.

ï‚· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving

requirements.

ï‚· Good communication skills and the ability to clearly present design solutions.

ï‚· Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new technologies and

methodologies.

ï‚· Excellent communication in English, and time management skills, with adaptability to

fast-paced environments and along with strong ethical conduct.
