The Senior Tool Room Incharge will oversee all operations within the tool room, ensuring efficiency and quality in tool design and production.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Supervision of Tool Room Operations:** Lead daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and meet the required standards of quality and safety.- **Tool Design and Development:** Oversee the design and development of new tools, collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet project specifications.- **Maintenance of Equipment:** Ensure all machinery and tools within the tool room are well-maintained, conducting regular inspections and prompt repairs as needed.- **Team Management:** Train and mentor tool room staff, assigning tasks and evaluating performance to build a strong, skilled team.- **Inventory Management:** Monitor tool inventory levels, ordering materials and supplies as necessary to ensure continuous production.- **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for improving tool production processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.- **Quality Control:** Implement quality assurance measures, ensuring all tools produced meet design specifications and industry standards.The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in a tool room environment, with strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of tool design and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in using CAD software and a solid grasp of machining techniques are essential. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
