We are currently looking for an experienced geotechnical engineering lead to join the team. The potential candidate will have an excellent track record of working on a wide range of medium and large projects including roads, railways and mines.Roles and Responsibilities:Assess field sites for terrain conditionsPerform geotechnical investigationsPrepare detailed and complete delivery documents including technical assessment reports.Plan laboratory tests and design ground models based on test data.Support the sales team with cost estimates for projectsBuild relations with client teams Share knowledge and expertise with junior members of team

The prospective candidate will have a passion for groundwater modelling and an aptitude for ramping up on new technical software. Software development skills will be an added benefit for this job. Roles and Responsibilities:Develop groundwater model for large geographical regions using MODFLOWTune and validate computational models with field dataEffectively communicate the results to clientsWrite Java/Python scripts to postprocess and visualise dataRequired Skills:Knowledge of hydrology and hydrogeologyExperience with MODFLOWPython/Javascript scriptingGIS Software experience

A broad understanding of civil engineering surveying and geotechnical fields.Imperative to have a prior experience in presales and bid managementIs expected to have an understanding of technical documentation and should be comfortable with RFP/RFI/RFQ response writingExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent visualization skills and ability to transform ideas to a PPTWillingness to travel for proposal and pitch workFlexibility in workingPleasant personality Key Responsibilities:Responsible for getting enlistment/empanelment with PSUs, PMCs, MNCs, Government agencies and other prospective customersEstablishing contacts in the industry and participating in customer meetings and seminarsAssess the leads/RFQ for operational risks and financial feasibility and respond accordingly.Respond to RFP/RFI Responsible for bid management and Tendering & Contracts activities and able to deliver a competitive costing and cost estimation.Develop, review & monitor compliance of the tender & contracts policies & guidelines.Handling documentation of the tenders and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.Adhere to the rules of tendering and complying with the sameUndertaking Bid/No Bid exercises to decide whether to make a submission or notReview of drafts and effecting improvementMethodologies and executive summariesQuality control and proceduresObtaining feedback from clients after failed bidsSupport business development and marketingPerform research on competition and clients
