Hydrogeologist

We are an engineering survey company with a small team based in Kolkata. We have a 40 year track record of successful projects all across India. An exciting new opportunity has come in the company for a trainee hydrogeologist. The prospective candidate will have a passion for groundwater modelling and an aptitude for ramping up on new technical software. Software development skills will be an added benefit for this job.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop groundwater model for large geographical regions using MODFLOW

Tune and validate computational models with field data

Effectively communicate the results to clients

Write Java/Python scripts to postprocess and visualise data

Required Skills:

Knowledge of hydrology and hydrogeology

Experience with MODFLOW

Python/Javascript scripting

GIS Software experience
