OB DESCRIPTION FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEERROLE OVERVIEW:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Project Engineer to oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing multiple small to medium-sized construction projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Project Planning & Management: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Allocate resources efficiently and monitor project timelines.2. Team Leadership: Assign responsibilities and ensure team members meet project objectives.3. Project Pitch/ Presentation: Candidate must have strong presentation skill and answer any technical questions posed by the client in a confident and crisp manner. Candidate must be able to present a proposal in a concise and effective manner.4. Vendor & Material Management: Source and negotiate with vendors for materials and services. Oversee procurement to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.5. Technical Execution: Oversee laborers and sub vendors to ensure proper quality of work is executed. Guide skilled laborers on execution of formwork, bar bending, placing of reinforcement steel, concreting, blockwork, plastering, painting, tile laying, joineries, plumbing and other finishing works.6. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations and legal requirements. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and change orders.QUALIFICATION:Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.EXPERIENCE:3- 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in MSME firms. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-on, result-oriented, and detail-focused. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Strong technical knowledge in executing Civil and Plumbing Works Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
