Job description Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tracking stock levels, reorder points, and usage patterns Procurement: Source spare parts from suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure a steady supply of quality spare parts Quality Control: Ensure that spare parts meet the required quality standards and specifications, conducting inspections and quality checks Stock Optimization: Optimize the stock of spare parts by identifying slow-moving items and adjusting order quantities accordingly Forecasting: Use historical data and equipment maintenance schedules to predict the demand for spare parts and plan inventory levels accordingly Cost Management: Work to reduce inventory carrying costs while ensuring that essential spare parts are readily available Safety and Compliance: Ensure that hazardous or safety-critical spare parts are properly stored and handled in compliance with safety regulationsQualification & Skills Required B.Tech/B.E/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile.
