job summary:
we are looking for a motivated and skilled fea engineer with 2 - 4 years of industry experience to join
our engineering team. the candidate will be responsible for performing finite element analysis (fea) to
evaluate structural strength, durability, thermal behavior and overall performance of mechanical systems
& its components, using the commercial fea software. the role involves pre-processing, solving and
post-processing, supporting design optimization and addressing real-world engineering challenges across
industries such as oil & gas, automotive, turbo machinery, electronics cooling, process equipment, etc.
key responsibilities:
• perform fea simulations including geometry preparation & clean-up, meshing, solver setup and
post-processing
• execute linear & nonlinear static, transient, thermal, fatigue, dynamic analyses using fea tools
• develop and implement efficient 2d/3d meshing strategies to ensure accuracy and computational
efficiency
• evaluate load paths, stress distribution and related physical phenomena across various systems
• validate simulation results against experimental data and provide design recommendations
• prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings with stakeholders
• maintain accurate design documentation including boms, specifications and change notices as
per project & corporate standards
• collaborate with design, cfd, testing and manufacturing teams to support product development
• apply simulation-driven optimization techniques to improve product designs
• ensure timely completion of analysis tasks while maintaining high-quality deliverables
required skills and qualifications:
• master’s/ bachelor’s/ diploma degree in mechanical, automotive, aerospace or related field
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in fea analysis using tools like ansys workbench or
equivalent tools
• strong knowledge of fea principles including stress/strain, load paths, solid mechanics, strength
of materials, machine design and heat transfer
• experience in preparing cad geometry using solidworks or equivalent
• familiarity with pre-processing tools such as spaceclaim, design modeler and/or discovery
• basic programming or scripting knowledge (ansys apdl, python or equivalent) for workflow
automation
• strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
• ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
