Job Description

1. Account Allocation

The bank/NBFC assigns overdue customer accounts to the collection executive or collection agency.

The executive receives customer details, outstanding amount, due date, and delinquency status.

2. Customer Contact

Contact the customer through:

Outbound calls

SMS/WhatsApp (as per company policy)

Email

Verify the customer's identity before discussing the account.

Inform the customer about the overdue payment and request payment.

3. Payment Negotiation

Understand the reason for non-payment.

Offer available payment options:

Full payment

Part payment

EMI restructuring (if approved by the bank)

Settlement (only with bank approval)

Maintain a professional and respectful approach.

4. Follow-up

Regularly follow up with customers who have promised to pay (PTP
