Key responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations: Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers.
2. Develop and implement supply chain strategies: Create and execute strategies to optimize the supply chain, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
3. Vendor management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
4. Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
5. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across the supply chain.
6. Continuous improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
Required skills and expectations:
1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role, with a strong track record of success.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management software.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
