Collecting and putting together compelling stories, communication resources including photos and videos, and acts as a communication bridge between the field teams and the community is the essence of the role.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Collecting field stories:
· Collects success stories, key achievement, and milestones activities at both a project level and at field level and write them to be shared with various target audiences
· Develops plan for having regular sharing of stories from the fields
· Coordinates with relevant teams to get great stories from the field
B. Communication resources collection
· Takes photos/ videos footage.
· Properly documents those resources and share
· Make use of those resources to be able to share to target donors, social media use and other purposes
· Produce short video clips on the stories collected from the field
C. Media work
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with the local media
· Identifies events/ stories that capitalise media opportunities a for media to report on positive works and raise awareness
· Coordinate donors, press, embassy and government groups and organize requested trips to conservation sites & Publication
D. Manage the organization’s social media communications.
· Maintain
· Create and produce internal newsletters for the organization.
· Put together annual report
· Provide concept to develop communication materials including poster, leaflet, brochure and other publication
