as a freelance it support technician, you will provide technical support to our clients and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of it issues in diverse environments, ensuring impeccable operations and exceptional customer service delivery.
key responsibilities:
- deliver technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to our clients
- diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and general it problems.
- offer clients technical advice and user training for it systems and software.
- perform system upgrades, software installations, and other it maintenance tasks as needed.
- record and report all service requests, work performed, and resolutions.
- maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction on every job.
essential skills & experience:
- proven experience in providing it support, preferably in a field-based or freelance role.
- proficient in windows, macos, linux and common business software applications.
- strong troubleshooting abilities with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- solid understanding of networking (lan, wi-fi, vpn, etc.) and hardware configuration.
- excellent communication and customer service skills.
- ability to manage your own schedule, work independently, and take initiative.
desirable skills:
- familiarity with microsoft server, active directory, office 365, and other enterprise software.
- experience in it security protocols and best practices.
- relevant it certifications are a considerable bonus.
