Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our services and applications

• Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications

• Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features

• Develop scripts to improve rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in AWS

• Write technical documentation

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with operability in mind

• Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. We value an ability to learn and grow together above knowing any technology.

• Participate in a 24x7 rotation for second-tier escalations

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, React)

• Knowledge of multiple coding languages (., Java, Python) and

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration

• Familiarity with databases (. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
