Job Title: Site Engineer - RDSS Project

Location: Latur, Ambajogai, Osmanabad (or as assigned)

Qualification:

- ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

- 1-3 years of experience in electrical or infrastructure projects_______________________________________

Key Skills Required

1. Technical Knowledge in Electrical Systems

- Understanding of electrical distribution systems and RDSS-specific tasks, including transformer installation, meter reading units, and LT/HT line setups.

- Knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and safety protocols specific to rural distribution and substation systems.

2. Project Execution Skills

- Hands-on experience with site layout, planning, and execution, especially with tasks like pole erection, cabling, and other rural electrical setup needs.

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, including planning daily tasks, deploying resources, and monitoring timelines.

3. Safety and Compliance

- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, overseeing proper use of PPE, and conducting safety briefings for on-site workers.

- Knowledge of safety regulations, including working at heights or with live electrical components.

4. Quality Control and Inspections

- Conducting regular inspections to ensure quality work, troubleshooting any deviations from standards, and documenting corrective actions.

- Ensuring compliance with RDSS quality benchmarks, especially in rural setups and adherence to project-specific technical requirements.

5. Documentation and Reporting

- Daily reporting on project progress, including updates on tasks completed, site challenges, and material use.

- Keeping logs for project records, including site visit reports, material inventory, and vendor deliveries.

6. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinating with local vendors for timely material supply and equipment, ensuring adherence to RDSS standards.

- Liaising with supervisors, contractors, and senior engineers to align on project requirements and timelines.
