job responsibilities:

• lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system

• determine and develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports

• gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, identify appropriate resources needed, assemble the right project team, and develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery

• project management of overall development process including communicating goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams and partners

• drive transformation agendas on setting up engineering kpis, benchmarks, measurements and processes, ensuring appropriate governance mechanism

• assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints.

• partner with stakeholders from product management, professional services and support to define business and product requirements for long term product roadmap

• communicate, both verbally and in writing, program successes, failures, lessons learned and mitigation plans to stakeholders

• create business cases to enable sign off from target stakeholders

• drive cost-savings and continuous improvement initiatives

• drive milestone readiness with the cross-functional teams

• navigate through ambiguity and managing technical project delivery in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• resolution of intra team dependencies

• bachelor’s or master’s in information technology, computer science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience

• technical program manager requires strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development methodologies
