As a Senior Accountant in the textile industry, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to the textile industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close procedures.

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support management decision-making.

Perform cost analysis, and inventory valuation, and ensure accurate product costing for textile products.

Coordinate and assist in the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.

Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee cash management activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in accounting standards related to the textile industry.

Mentor and provide guidance to the junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA designation preferred).

Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant in the textile industry or a similar manufacturing environment.

In-depth knowledge of textile industry accounting principles and including product costing.
