Job Description

An Oil & Gas Sales Manager drives revenue by developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and leading a sales team to meet targets for products/services like equipment, fuels, or technology, requiring deep industry knowledge, B2B expertise, negotiation skills, and collaboration with engineering/marketing teams to secure high-value contracts and expand market share.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies, create territory plans, and set revenue targets for the oil & gas sector, focusing on market growth.

Business Development: Identify new opportunities, generate leads, build a strong sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into orders.

Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high satisfaction.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve high performance and exceed goals.

Solution Selling: Understand client needs (pains, technical/commercial requirements) and work with engineering to offer tailored solutions and value propositions.

Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain) to align strategies, build winning bids, and ensure smooth project handover.

Market Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to spot opportunities and position products effectively.

Reporting & Administration: Track KPIs, manage sales funnels, forecast, report to management, and handle contract documentation.

Industry Presence: Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
