ROLE OVERVIEW
The Head of Sales will drive revenue growth for The Organisation's CCL division by building and managing a portfolio of PCB manufacturer clients across India and export markets. This person will own the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and specification engagement to order management and key account growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, approach, and acquire PCB manufacturers in India and internationally as long-term CCL customers
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear revenue forecasts and conversion milestones
- Conduct technical presentations and product qualification discussions with PCB procurement, engineering, and quality teams
Key Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tier-1 and tier-2 PCB manufacturers
- Drive repeat orders and volume growth within existing accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical coordination between customer requirements and internal production / QC teams
Technical Sales
- Understand customer specifications: Tg, dielectric constant, peel strength, thickness tolerances, and halogen-free requirements
- Position The Organisation's CCL grades against competing products from Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean suppliers
- Collaborate with production and R&D to develop customised laminate solutions for specific customer applications
Pricing & Reporting
- Manage pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and contract terms
- Prepare monthly sales MIS, pipeline reports, and customer feedback summaries for management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience
- 3-10+ years of sales experience in CCL, PCB, copper foil, or electronics materials industry
- Established network with PCB manufacturers across India (and/or export markets)
- Track record of managing large-volume industrial accounts with long sales cycles
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing process and how laminate specifications impact board performance
- Familiarity with CCL grades: Standard FR-4, High Tg, Halogen-Free, Rogers-type materials
- Awareness of competitive landscape: Shengyi, Kingboard, NAN YA, Iteq, and local suppliers
Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage both technical (engineers) and commercial (procurement) decision-makers
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Education
- . / in Electronics, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
- MBA in Marketing / Sales Management is a strong advantage
