• hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all commercial sales employees, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing always.
• forecasts sales goals and expenses for the commercial vehicle department.
• forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
• maintains close contact with customers and manufacturer's commercial vehicle representatives.
• develops programs that will increase gross and f& i penetration.
• provides proper product and training resources for salespeople on a regular and continuous basis.
• conducts daily and weekly commercial sales training meetings as directed by the general manager.
• understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect commercial vehicle sales.
