we are seeking a dynamic and motivated sales cum designer to join our growing team. this dual-role position requires a blend of creative interior design expertise and strong sales skills. the successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing design proposals, driving sales, and guiding clients through the entire process—from consultation to project completion.
key responsibilities
generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach.
conduct client consultations to understand requirements, preferences, and budgets.
develop innovative and functional design concepts, drawings, and 3d renderings using autocad and other design software.
present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively to achieve targets.
specify and source suitable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures within budget.
conduct site visits to take measurements, oversee project implementation, and ensure design quality.
collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to deliver seamless execution.
build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
qualifications
bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or related field.
2+ years of professional experience in interior design with proven sales success.
strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed projects.
proficiency in autocad (mandatory); knowledge of sketchup, revit, 3ds max, or adobe creative suite preferred.
strong understanding of design principles, space planning, material selection, and current trends.
excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
