Senior Sales Coordinator (Team Lead) Job Description
The Senior Sales Coordinator (Team Lead) is a pivotal role that connects the field sales force with the internal operations team. As a Team Lead, you are not just managing data and documentation; you are driving the productivity of the sales team, ensuring targets are met, and streamlining the entire order-to-delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Monitoring
Performance Tracking: Monitor the daily activities of Sales Coordinators and Junior Sales Executives.
Target Management: Break down monthly sales targets into actionable daily/weekly goals for the team.
Training: Onboard new team members and provide training on CRM usage, sales pitch consistency, and internal protocols.
2. Sales Operations & Coordination
Order Management: Oversee the processing of orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, discounts, and tax implications (GST).
Lead Distribution: Efficiently assign incoming leads from various channels (web, calls, or exhibitions) to the right sales personnel.
Dispatch Coordination: Liaise with the Store/Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
3. Reporting & Analysis
Sales Dashboards: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly MIS reports for senior management.
Payment Tracking: Coordinate with the Accounts department to track outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from clients.
