Job description:

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves minimizing workplace hazards and promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and enforce workplace safety standards and regulations.

2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.

3. Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and company policies.

4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.

5. Conduct safety inductions and training sessions for employees and workers.

6. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

7. Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.

8. Coordinate with different departments to implement safety practices.

9. Supervise safety officers and workers on-site.

10. Ensure emergency preparedness (fire drills, evacuation plans, first aid readiness).
