• Working knowledge of all safety equipments – especially firefighting, Alarm & prevention system, Hydrants, Sprinkler systems etc.
• In depth knowledge of legislation (. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and practices
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
• Working knowledge of safety management information systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to implement health and safety Systems.
• Related Organisation experience is an added advantage
• Support the development of OHS policies and programs
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
• Review existing policies and measures and update.
• Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
• Frequently conduct Drills
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity and address the same.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Identify & impart requisite training
