job summary:
the area sales manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing business, and managing the distribution network within the assigned territory. the role involves managing dealer & distributor relationships, channel sales, project sales, and ensuring brand visibility and market penetration of bath fittings products.
key responsibilities:
sales & target achievement:
drive sales and meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
plan and execute sales strategies for market development.
monitor and improve primary and secondary sales.
channel development & management:
appoint new dealers, distributors, and sub-dealers.
strengthen relationships with existing channel partners.
ensure proper coverage and distribution in the assigned area.
market expansion:
identify new business opportunities in retail, projects, institutional sales, and modern trade.
coordinate with architects, builders, plumbing contractors, and interior designers for project-based sales.
team & territory management:
lead and manage the sales team (if applicable) within the territory.
provide product training and support to channel partners & internal team.
monitor competitor activities and market trends.
customer relationship management:
ensure excellent customer service and complaint resolution.
regular market visits to maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
reporting & mis:
prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis.
maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and outstanding payments.
