job profile of the position:
1. understanding drawings preparing boqs, cost estimates, taking of quantities.
2. preparing updating and maintaining basic schedule of rates document.
3. checking quotes with respect to bsr and market rates.
4. checking boos shared by consultants, aligning contractors to our boqs specifications 
and making technical and cost comparatives.
5. making budget of projects as per boqs.
6. preparing rate analysis of civil finishes and interior works, (gathering ongoing market rates 
for providing more accurate estimates).
7. maintaining the records of the approved budgets for all the projects, monitoring, 
controlling & updating the project budget with respect to awarded work orders.
8. undertake monthly valuation on site with contractor & prepare payment recommendation 
certificates.
9. contractor bills review and processing the bills.
10. checking reconciliation statements, jmrs, nt items 11 reconciliation for free issue 
materials, material management, extra claims, idle claims etc.
12. analyze & negotiate variations claim from contractor, monitoring & evaluation of 
variation orders issued. 
13. maintain a register of variation orders, both issued and under consideration.
14. approving bills of contractors, checking contractor complies with its insurance/ 
guarantees/ bonds obligations under the construction contract and advise the mgmt. on 
any extensions needed for such insurances/guarantees bonds etc..
15. final bill for project closure.
16. bills tracking, payment trackers.
17. preparing & maintaining cost reports.
