Purchase Trainee (Female)

We are looking for a motivated female Purchase Trainee to join our team in Porur. This is a full-time position ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience. As a Purchase Trainee, you will support our purchasing department in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in Procurement: Help the purchasing team in sourcing materials and products needed for our operations. This includes identifying suppliers and gathering necessary information about their offerings.

- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and invoices. Ensuring that all documents are correctly filed and easy to access is crucial for smooth operations.

- Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers to follow up on orders, resolve issues, or inquire about delivery times. Good communication will help build strong relationships with our suppliers.

- Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of stock levels and report any shortages or overstock situations. This will help in making timely purchases and maintaining optimal inventory.

- Market Research: Conduct research on market prices and trends for products we purchase. This knowledge will support better decision-making in the procurement process.

Required Skills and Expectations:

- A diploma is required; candidates with relevant educational background in business or supply chain management are preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory management.

- Good communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and team members.

- Basic understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics is a plus, but not mandatory.

- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
