Responsibilities ï‚· Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies ï‚· Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness ï‚· Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. ï‚· Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power ï‚· Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking ï‚· Assess, manage and mitigate risks ï‚· Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers ï‚· Determine quantity and timing of deliveries ï‚· Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand Requirements ï‚· Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager in FMCG & Hospitality. ï‚· Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management ï‚· Interest in market dynamics along with business sense ï‚· A knack for negotiation and networking. ï‚· Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures ï‚· Solid judgement along with decision making skills ï‚· Strong leadership capabilities
