General Manager - Purchase (Male)

A. Strategic Procurement & Cost Control: Develop and implement centralized procurement strategy for all projects. Finalize rates for major materials (RMC, Steel, Cement, Aluminium formwork, finishing materials). Drive cost optimization through bulk procurement, negotiations, and vendor benchmarking. B. Vendor Management & Empanelment: Identify, evaluate, and empanel reliable vendors and subcontractors. Conduct rate negotiations and contract finalization. Maintain vendor performance tracking and periodic evaluation. Develop alternate vendor sources to mitigate supply risks. C. ERP (Farvision) & Process Control: Ensure 100% procurement through ERP (Farvision) with proper approvals. Define and enforce purchase workflows, approval hierarchies, and documentation standards. Monitor ERP data for: PR, PO, GRN alignment Budget and actual consumption Implement process improvements and system discipline. D. Project Coordination & Material Planning: Coordinate with Planning, Projects, and Stores teams for material requirements. Ensure timely delivery of critical materials to avoid site delays. Monitor material consumption trends and wastage control. E. Team Leadership & Governance: Lead and manage purchase team at HO. Define KRAs and monitor team performance. Ensure discipline, accountability, and turnaround timelines. Key Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Deep knowledge of construction materials & rates ERP-driven procurement control (Farvision preferred) Leadership and decision-making ability
